Dhoom 3: Back in Action is an upcoming action thriller Hindi film, written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. The film is third installment in the popular Dhoom series. Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif have been signed to play lead roles, while Abhishek Bachchan,Uday Chopra and Rimi Sen will reprise their original roles.the film release date 2013,

Aamir Khan was signed on to essay the lead role and the antagonist, while Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will reprise their roles as police officers. Katrina Kaif was signed on as the lead heroine, starring opposite Khan.Dhoom 3 will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, replacing Sanjay Gadhvi who directed the two previous films and declined to return to direct the third,Both the lead actors took up special preparations for the roles that they are playing. Khan reportedly learnt ballet and French technique of parkour,a method of movement focused on moving around obstacles with speed and efficiency while Kaif took paragliding training and singing lessons. Bachchan reportedly lost nine kilos of weight to prepare for his role in the film.
