Breaking News about Lauren Scruggs Smiles In New Video

Lauren Scruggs, the model and fashion blogger who lost her left arm and eye in a horrific plane propeller accident four months ago, smiles enthusiastically in a new video shown on Tuesday's Today Show (April 3, 2012). Scruggs was seen wearing workout clothes and donning a bright smile, though a sleeve concealed her severed arm, reports the New York Daily News.



The photos were made public just days after Scruggs reached an insurance settlement from the incident.
Scruggs rejected a $200,000 settlement from Aggressive Insurance Services, the insurer of the plane and pilot involved in the accident before agreeing on a figure that was not publicly disclosed by her family. She recently was photographed while shopping with her family near her home in Plano, Texas, leaving her missing limb uncovered for the first time. Usually, the arm is covered by clothes or scarves .



Lauren Elizabeth Scruggs is an American, celebrity model. Scruggs became known nationally when on December 3, 2011 she mistakenly walked into an airplane's spinning propeller losing her left eye and severing her left hand after exiting the plane under darkness following a flight to view Christmas lights in the Dallas area.
